I'm still waiting for fuzy's "person who has used them" to chime in. I would add "used them on their S2000" to make it more relevant, though.
And when the question was "would they be good on a track car?", I kind of thought that it might be interesting to know if the person who answers is a track driver, and whether the car they track is their S2000.
I've seen a lot of "built race engines" actually out on the track, and the one thing they have in common is that for every five lapping days the rest of us go to, the guys with the "built race engines" spend one day waiting for parts, another day putting the parts on, a third day where they are out on the track and their car is really fast, a fourth day where they are out on the track and their car breaks, and a fifth day where they are trying to figure out what new parts to order to fix the problem from the fourth day. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Exactly.
Look at our Honda Cup results fro Laguna Seca.
Krazik's bone stock 2.0L motor with nothing more tha I/H/E is with in a 0.1 sec of a 2.2L with EMS etc.
All he does is oil changes. The car is reliable and that means more time driving it. The other aspect is can a driver extract the reduced laptimes from a given mod. If they don't have the skill and they are battling for secs instead of 1/10ths of a sec, then no engine mod is going to help them.
I have nothing against bling/show parts, but I can recognize when they are more likely to be debilitating for any sort of racing/competition.
Please go out of your way to prove me wrong though.
Gabe, the ducts are custom, I made them myself. They use a NACA style duct with 3" hose routed to the back of the heatshield. Took about 1 hour and cost about $100. thet flow better than 2.5" but offer less clearance and have to be replaced more often due to rubbing that occurs at full lock.

1) You're reducing rotating mass. It might be small, but it's there. Not only do you remove mass from the camshafts, but you can also remove other components on the head that are required for VTEC operation.
2) You should never be below 6K RPMs on a pure track car. Therefore, the low cams are never used. If you're never going to use something, why have it?

I managed to get 3 inch ducts in with no rubbing (barely), but that's at stock ride height and with 205/55R16 tires. I would recommend 2.5 inch ducts.
