You'll get the ABS light on when you run a car on the dyno. The car thinks you're spinning the rear wheels to hell while the fronts are staying put. Drive 200 feet and they should turn off right away.
Drove it today and the lights are still on. Btw the ABS lights aren't on - just the VSA and the traction control light.

Is your steering wheel straight? If the steering wheel is off center it will trigger the traction control but not abs light. If a wheel sensor is bad then the ABS and traction control lights will come on.

^ if your steering wheel is not straight or alignment is off then the traction light and vsa will remain on. It happen to me when I had my clutch replaced. The reason was during the process of changing out the clutch, you have to disconnect the steering shaft and if you don't put it back exactly the way it was before then it will trigger it on.

After adjusting it a tooth or so, I drove it around for 20 or so mins and it turned off.

I thought at first it was a malfunction and something up with the unit but glad I didn't have to take it to the stealership, haha.

Why don't you put back your old wheels and see if it goes off?

Oh no wonder - when I threw my wheels on I maxed the camber on the car so its not aligned at all right now. The wheel sits straight but the alignment is definetely completely off!!!

I had no idea the VSA light would do that if the alignment was that off. The car should be getting aligned sometime this week after paint. It's going to go in for paint later today and aligned later. I'll report my findings after that. Thanks guys!

Your VSA is not faulty. This happened to my 06 also after putting in 17x10 wheels with 255 and 275 tires. I tried everything from disconnecting the battery, putting back the stock wheels and using a simple code reader and nothing. After a couple of months I took the car to a shop that had a good diagnostic tool. It showed speed fault codes in the abs section of the diagnostic. They did a reset of the system using the tool and turning on and off the ignition a couple of times. Light turned off, finally! It's definitely triggered by the taller tires and won't shut off unless you do a reset with a proper diagnostic tool.

When I went from 245/40-17 to 245/45-17 out back on my '06 I got no lights(ABS or VSA). The 245/45's are 9/10" taller than the 245/40's so maybe 9/10" will not trip the VSA/ABS light.

My race tires are 255-40/17 and 275-40/17 rear. It was enough to turn on the VSA.
