Had the same problem with mine last year...Topped off the reservoir and no problems.

I do agree with spitfire...brake fluid should be at least checked if not changed at pad change intervals. Especially of you are running dot 4 fluid.

just had the same problem with my '07 – it was just above the min line and I added fluid and problem solved. but my real problem was brake pads. when i changed pads (like a month later) the fluid overflowed and was all over the fender...

still on stock brake pads? maybe time for new pads - the fluid will drop as the pads wear.

Here's the story on the drop in fluid in the reservoir.

I bought some race pads for the track back in November; I also bought stainless steel lines so I flushed out the system and topped it off. Well after the track event I put the stock pads back in which had 33k miles on them so as you can imagine going from brand new pads to worn ones, the fluid would drop. I guess it dropped just enough to not throw the light for a month until now.

Hope that helps others that have the same issue. Just also a note for people helping to troubleshoot... ask how high the fluid level is according to min/max rather than just "have you checked your fluid level." And also a note for guys like me who just assumed if it's between Min & Max that the fluid level is good when on this car, it needs to be above halfway between the marks. Big difference and good learning experience.

Just had the same problem. VSA light came on all the time. Disconnect the float sensor in the master cylinder and the light quit going on. The sensor wasn't bad my pads are just low which puts more of the fluid in the lines. Added a bit of brake fluid and the light does not come on. But check your brake pads/fluid level.

Thought I would add to this... I had the same problem on an 07, brake fluid level was fine, I even added some for good measure. This did not solve the problem. It turns out the float sensor was the issue (would not float) therefore falsely indicating low brake fluid. When the system detects that there is low brake fluid, VSA is disabled to protect itself from possible damage from air/moisture/contaminents getting in the system.

The fix required the entire brake master cylinder to be replaced. There was no way to replace the float switch by itself. Luckily, Honda stepped up and replaced the part even though I was just out of warranty.

I have the same problem only thing left seems this is okay. and the brake fluid and brake pads. also I do not have such a good braking performance. to the other car that I've driven my brakes looked much steeper and more efficiently. There is a chance not to work the brake master cylinder; ;;

I have 07 model, 40K kilometers but I have never changed rear brake pads ..
