VQ35 engine swap

Why do you want to do it anyway? It will make your s2000 a very nose heavy car, which will upset the balance of the car. Your brakes and tires are working much harder which will slow down your time in a long run. Remember, weight is your biggest enemy when racing on tracks.
If you are seriously thinking about a VQ35 swap, have you thought about a E36 M3 engine swap instead. I own all those cars: E36 M3, G35 & s2000. I like the power delivery from the E36 engine much better than the G35. It felt smoother and stronger. Either way, I would stay away from a engine swap.

why do you want to add 300 lbs and upset the balance of the car, just for an extra 40 ponies?
I have seen recently in Sport Compact car a 350Z with a SR20DET swap in order to reduce weight for track events
