Vortech Supercharger and VAFC Question...
I was wondering if you would still need to use a VAFC with the Vortech Supercharger. According to Vortech it comes with fuel system management, high performance ignition system with boost timing retard, custom computer tuning. With all that already included with the Vortech SC kit, would a VAFC help increase hp???

From my understanding, the kit is complete. You dont NEED anything else to run the car. But my guess is you could to clean things up if you like. They probably did all their tests on a stock car so if you have other mods maybe you can see a difference with further tuning. I bet they also run the ecu rich anyhow for safety reasons.

It comes with a fuel pressure regulator. Often this can be called an FMU (fuel management unit)...but it's nothing more than a rising rate regulator. As the boost rises the fuel pressure rises. It's a decent mechanical way to get more fuel to a stock ECU...but it's not something that would eliminate the benefits of a V-AFC. The Comptech kit comes with an FMU as well.
