I was looking through the Vortech site and saw that they have a SFMU. Which supposedly allows you to mess with the fuel curves.

The SFMU is kind of overkill.
It has features intended for it to replace the stock FPR.
The basic FMU in the SC kit is installed in the fuel return line after the stock FPR, the stock FPR controlling static pressure, and the FMU increasing fuel pressure as boost increases.
The SFMU controls static pressure, pressure increase for boost, and it has a bleed valve to limit the max pressure (however you probably don't want to use this feature since I think that is essentially a leak in the boost line, which might be bad for the other things teed into that line).
Really the only variable you'd probably tweak with the SFMU is the static pressure - which essentially adds to the max fuel pressure. Control of the *rate* of fuel pressure increase in response to boost is still controlled by an internal spring thing like the basic FMU and is not infinitely adjustable.
I think an AEM AFPR could do everything you need for less money (similar adjustability to the FPR comptech sells with their kit).
