The thing that concerns me is that running that lean to acheive those numbers will not grant you long-term life of the motor.
I hope youre not running into the 14:1 range otherwise say bye bye to your motor in a few months.
IMO tuning to the point of hearing detonation is pretty risky, especially if you can't get on it in the lower rpms.
Great job though, and Im very happy for you. I would have the vortech route if not the turbo.

I also just got my kit from the same group buy... I just haven't had time to install it yet.
Do you think colder plugs might help get rid of the ping? I want to be able to floor it in any gear.
