I had my car done at www.lr-racing.com. Lowell did an amazing job, nothing leaked, nothing rattled, my only problem with the install is now for some reason the car seems to dyno at 310 at the wheels.
I have the dyno sheets, and no scanner. I have a video of the run, but no close up of the hp #. Oh well!
Vortech rocks!!!!

This was on a dynojet.
My car dyno'ed 196 at the wheels stock the day before!
No VAFC, no nothing. Just the Vortech kit.
Driving it... oh man... ohhhhh... I have NO idea how that certain magazine only pulled a 13.7 @ 105, this car feels so much faster now. SOOOO much.

Wow, I can't believe you got such a big gain out of it. Are you positive it isn't 310 at the crank? If so I need to invest in one of these asap! thanks.

Nope, 310 at the wheels.
We're going to get a single exhaust, AEM, BIG injectors, and maybe try for 12-14 psi. I think Lowell has some tricks up his sleeve to get this sled to run a little faster.
Oh, and calling comptech for the diff, and getting a clutch. I HOPE to get the above done by the 8th of August.
I read alot on here about how the S2000 is not a dragster. No, it's not. Neither is a Civic, but there are some DAMN fast Civics out there.

Go scan your Dyno and post it...not technically possible to run the Vortech + FMU on the S2000 without additional adjusting of A/F ratio due to extreme lean-ness in the system...you're not using anything other than the Vortech FMU?

John2k...
Yeah, Lowell and the dyno operator were VERY concerned about how lean it runs. It does NOT ping at ALL though! Well... if you punch it around 4k in 3rd... it will ping. My general rule is that I will not floor it below 5500 rpm or so.
I ran my car VERY hard for 3 hours last night, 3 hours of near constant 6k+ and flooring it. I went through a tank of gas in... oh... 150 miles?
I've only heard 2 pings since yesterday, and that's when Lowell at lr-racing.com told me to floor it at 4k rpm briefly because he suspected it would ping... I heard two pops and immediately got off it. I don't floor it below 5000-5500 rpm in any gear and I haven't heard any other pings.
Keep in mind I'm having fun with the idea of blowing it up so I have an excuse to go all out. I'm having a blast with the power... it makes the car so, so, soooo much more fun to drive.
