Default Vortech fuel pump without SC?

Would it be ok to keep the Vortech high flow fuel pump if the Vortech supercharger is removed?
Would the extra flow increase the base fuel pressure or would the system compensate?
Would the air fuel mixture be rich enough to make it run poorly, not pass emissions or damage the catalytic converter?
Or are S2000s so lean to begin with that it wouldn't matter?

As long as the stock fuel pressure regulator was still installed, and the FMU removed, you won't have any probems.
