I have an 03 AP1 and today out of nowhere I started to feel a strong vibration when sitting in neutral and also when im accelerating. When I opened my hood I saw that the engine was shaking quite hard and very out of the ordinary. Next I checked my exhaust (stock) because the vibration also felt like it was coming from the back and I saw that the right side was pulsing at times. Lastly the check engine light turns on and off. Before I take it to the mechanic down the block I just want to check if any of you know what it might be or if theres a way to check why its vibrating like that. thanks

Part of the engine is not getting spark or fuel. Or part of the engine is down on compression. Bad or clogged Map Sensor.
Spark could be plug or coil.
Fuel could be injector or blockage in injector.
Compression could be a bad ring, or valve.
Map Sensor could need a good whack. Search for Map Whack.
Or it could be a bad motor mount (if a CEL is present its doubtful but could exaggerate the vibrations)
If the engine light is turning off and on, then you should have a code. Goto AutoZone and tell them your check engine light is on, they can plug in and get your codes. They will try to sell you stuff, but at least you will know the codes. If your lucky and get someone who knows what the codes could be, they might explain them better to you than "mis-fire cylinder bank 2".
All the AZ's by me can do this. I have watched them do it out in the parking lot.
