Default Vibration when braking and at slow speeds

Hi everyone, I'm Greg and new to the forum.

I have had a 2002 MCB S2000 for around 6 months. When I bought it, it had a slight vibration when braking, as if there was a very slight increase in pressure on the brake pedal with every revolution of the front wheels, it was so slight I thought nothing of it. Due to the nature of my work the car was stationary for 3 months, after this the problem became more pronounced and the vibration can now be felt when traveling from 0 to around 45mph with each revolution of the front wheels.

I have a suspicion it may be a warped disc touching the brake pad with every revolution, but before I get them changed, could this be anything else?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If it's only while braking I would just replace the rotors

pad material build-up on the rotors?

mileage? do you know the history of the braking system on the car? maybe it needs a once over regardless.....

I'm not sure of the history of the braking system, there was an intermittent very slight vibration when I bought it, but that seemed to have gone until recently. It's done 113000 miles now so it's probably worth getting a once over.

Thanks for the link.

It turns out the front left caliper had seized. The nice people at Honda have given me a Jazz to play with while a new one is delivered and fitted.
