Vibration through the steering wheel

Vibration through the steering wheel
Whenever I am in in 3rd, 4th or 5th driving normally and then suddenly go WOT, I can feel this vibration through the steering wheel. I can also feel it a lil through my seat. This is not the kind of vibration that would be caused by unbalanced wheels or the cv cups. The vibration seems to come through the chassis, again it's not a like a "shake" but more of a vibration. Could worn out steering rack bushings cause this? I do hear "clunking/popin" sound from the front area while turning the steering wheel or hitting the brakes all of a sudden. Thanks

check your engine and trans mounts. also check your tie rod ends.

The bushings seem fine although I been thinking about replacing the steering rack bushings. Whenever I'm backing out and If i slowly move the steering to either side, I can hear this popping/cracking from the front right area. It seems as though something is shifting. I have checked all the bolts and nothing is loose. Also this happens when car is on the car and moving. if I raise the car and move the steering wheel to either side, it doesn't make any sound.
So I'm thinking the vibration might related to this problem too.
