Are the torquing instruction in the helm's service manual? Or is this a procedure that a differential builder would have to perform?
Would you know why or how this nut gets loose? There has been no reason I could see that anyone would touch that nut. The prop shaft has been removed twice, don't know why the nut would be messed with in either of those two circumstances. Is it a nut that could just get loose on it's own overtime?
It drives really smooth right now, so could that be an indicator that it is torqued correctly?

I'm sure they know what they're doing it just has to be to specs and it is in the fsm. A lot of bolts can come lose like the rear subframe, hell even the alignment adjuster lock nuts can come lose. It's ok to over tighten those but the diff one has to be done precisely.

When you take off the prop shaft and look at the flange that the prop shaft connects to on the diff side, in the middle of it is the flange nut, it's hidden by the prop shaft, it's just a big nut I forgot the size I think it's a 23mm.
