Default Vibration on light throttle from 60+

I've been trying to figure out this issue for quite some time and I can't seem to figure it out. I done tons of searching to no avail. Hopefully somebody has ran into this issue and can help me out. The closest post I found was from Blippy and I have yet to get a hold of him. Anyways...

I have a vibration while driving pass 60+ mph. This vibration only happens on light throttle(<25%). If I step on the gas 30%+ or let off, the vibration goes away. I just recently replaced the motor/trans/diff mounts. I may have had this issue before replacing the mounts but it became apparent after the mounts. I am leaning towards something being bad in the transmission/clutch, but correct me if I am wrong.

Any help to troubleshoot and narrow this problem down would be greatly appreciated.

Thank!

Cv buckets, bad balance,do you have hubcentric wheels?

My first guess would be the cv buckets too. You could do the cv bucket swap to see if it fixes it; it's maybe a two hour job and requires you to loosen the axle nuts.

If this is an issue caused by the CV buckets, shouldn't the vibration get worst upon harder acceleration? The tires looks to have even wear but I have not rechecked for balance. The last time it was balanced was when I replaced all four tires(with new ones) at once and had an alignment done right after. My wheels are Volks CE28's. No hubcentric rings.

Not necessarily, there is a general pattern but no 100% rule to cup wear, it can vibrate at lite throttle as well. But typically if its felt under light throttle, its felt under heavier load as well. I would verify that your wheels are all balanced and tires in good shape first, if so, then I recommend getting spacers, or swapping the cups "buckets". Spacers are a hell of a lot easier and quicker option (assuming you get the 2 piece version) 30 min of clean work vs 3 hours of greasy fun. All S2k will eventually need to swap cups and run spacers if they want to get the most life from their half shafts. Both fix the problem, but only for a wile and then the other solution (depending on which you chose to do first) will need to be employed.

For example; When cups wear - Add spacers, then remove spacers and swap cups, then add spacers to the swapped cups. I'm on the last config current with over 200k on my original half shafts. The first two configs got me about 50k miles before vibration started in again.

I currently have the T1R half shaft spacers on already.
