sounds good.

mine also vibrates/ rattles at 3000. it happens in neutral, or driving....whenever it hits the 3000 mark. i'm pretty sure in every gear. i've been so aggravated that i've been going deaf with my sound turned up. i have to say though, its not a really loud sound....just enuff to aggravate me. i don't believe mine goes away when the engine warms though. sometimes it appears to be gone then it'll reappear.

btw, it appears to be coming from the rear of the car...possibly behind the driver area.

i'll test again after work.
my car is also lowered with an exhaust.

Coming from a guy who bought two sets of rims that don't fit and telling me mine don't fit --> means they fit real snug just like yo' momma and your uncleDaddy straight Carolinas style.

so... i have this problem. is there any real solution? i have an idea where the rattling is coming from, but not completely sure. i thought it was my exhaust, but its definitely behind the driver side in the rear at around 3k

crazy BUMP!

Second Zombie bump.

I am experiencing this buzz as well. For me, engine temp has nothing to do with it. It's an in-discriminant buzz from the rear of the vehicle. It sounds higher up, to me.

I have a 2003 S2K, HKS cat-back exhaust.

I removed my rear plastic tray, my spare tire, the spare tools, and all of the trunk plastics trying to figure this bad boy out- I was convinced it was interior.

But so far I've had no luck finding it. I should check the exhausts next, but if anyone has any ideas on how this common problem occurs please chime in.

I think it's the trunk springs. The 2 black sticks attached to the trunk.

Someone else mentioned thatas well, so I took a sweater shirt and wrapped it around all of the trunk springs - no luck.
