Vibrating accelerator...Resolution!!
Just thought I'd give a little feedback to the forum. I don't know if anyone else experiences anything like this, but everytime I moved my car after first starting it I feel a vibration in the accelerator pedal for about a second. I was driving myself nuts over this, and was finally told by my local dealership it's actually the ABS initializing, and that the wheels have to be turning in order for this to happen. It sounded rather shady, I had a buddy hold his hand on the unit under the hood while I slowly rolled the car after starting it. They were right! Which is a first coming from them.
Anyways, not sure if anyone else was experiencing this kind of "symptom" and not sure what it was. Although, even though this is my first car with ABS (I drove a '91 Prelude for forever, and still have it) I also wonder if this is normal for ABS. Oh, well. As long as she is working ok, I won't complain too much.
Just an FYI guys....

I do not see how you get a vibration in the accelerator pedal from the brake system. Maybe I am missing your explanation of the symptom or the explanation, but not only does my car not do it, but I can't imagine the connection.

You feel it throught the accelerator pedal because the throttle cable is run through a grommet that connects to the ABS unit, and by apply pressure to the cable you are making it taunt, thus enableing it to transfer the vibration better. I'm glad to hear, though, that I'm not the only one experiencing this.
