Default very slight occasional metal sound

ive heard a very quiet metal sound comming from the rear on 2 occasions. It seems to come and go. I hear it when im rolling slowly like 0-25mph and its there if im in gear or not, going straight or turning. sounds almost like something is barely touching something else shwish shwish shwish shwish and then goes away. Any thoughts on what it might be?

Brake dragging. Grease the brake slider pins.

Any decent mechanic can do it, or just jack the rear up, remove the wheels, remove the calipers (two bolts per side) and remove the slider pins for regreasing.

If they are fine, you may have a sticky caliper. I sorted mine out by pumping the brakes a few times to expose the piston, lifting the dust seal and spraying some thin grease down the sides of the piston, push the piston back in with a clamp (did this process a few times to work the grease in).

If the caliper still drags, you may need to get the caliper(s) rebuilt or get a new/refurbished caliper.

HTH

Should take no longer than 30 minutes.

Post in your local s2ki forum to ask for a shop recommendation. It's easy enough for a shadetree mechanic to do it, so some local owner might even offer to help you out.
