Hi. ived pulled out my spark plugs and it is very oily on the threads. all 4 of them....

anyone know whats causing this?

They were threaded into a cylinder head... All used spark plugs will have some oil/carbon on the threads. It's normal

You may have bad spark plug seals, which is the case for me.

are you sure those are motor oil? a good mechanic will put in a dot of antiseize(oily silver stuff) on the thread for future removal. A half decent mechanic will use motor oil on the thread.

if it's coming from the VC seal, you shouldnt gettng the thread part wet.
