Very Loud Bang

Strange, same thing happened to me this morning. Sounded like a rock hit the body. But it was just a flat open freeway, and there was no damage.

my s backfires but in the car it's not that loud (sounds like a little pop) but friends behind me say it sounds like an m80 or a shotgun lol
