VErsion 2 Toda cams

This sounds exactly like the V1 cams. HUGE low end/mid range HP gains. Minimal to nill top end gains.
I would love to get a hold of the V1 cams cheap!!! They seem to yield similar results to V2's. Though who knows. This is only the first set dyno'ed. These would be fantastic for those who want pre-vtec power like myself who drive the car daily.

I'm really hoping someone else installs these cams and shares their experience with us.... Hopefully I'm missing something....I donno.......But for the most part, I think I'm happy with the results..... The car really pulls....this should be a goes combo with the 4.77...muahahh

What other mods do you have? What did you tune with? These things may be at fault. I have a hard time believing that the cams alone would lose power. Please tell us your other mods.

I wonder how much tuning will change these cams? perhaps UL could chime in here. I will be glad to share my experience when mine go in. I will post before and after of just the cams, then I'll be tuning, probably with the SMT-6, since Hondata doesn't yet have an ECU for us.... hopefully some fine tuning can stave off the losses.....

knn air charger and mugen H and E and a VAFC....I think it is unlikely it is the mods ... However I am switching to TODA headers when they arrive in two weeks. I will redyno and update..... errrhhh I am so close to giving up and going boost......

Beroz, do you think it could be the Mugen exhaust? Because it's a more quiet/restrictive exhaust. Maybe you switch to a free flowing exhaust. Maybe a single and also tuning it with vafc for now. That you can see more gains on top end. Most top end loss a lot of times are due to exhaust. What's your opinion on this?

The mugen exhuast shouldn't be cause for loss in power. If anything, it would be a slight gain. I've got one and dyno'd. The gain isn't huge but there is gain. A good single would definitely add more ponies. Sounds like the cam just shifted the powerband down for low-mid range power. Maybe that was the intent of these cams to make the car more driveable down low. But then again, would love to hear wicky's impression.
Wicky, what's the ETA?
