Default vehicle speed sensor (VSS) 2,4,8,16-pulse?

hey guys.. well i just purchased my Blitz MMD i-color meter which basically has a lot of monitoring functions.

anyhow, its a quick four wire install, 12v+, ground, RPM, and speed.

got everything but the speed. according to the instructions of blitz and the wiring chart, it says for the speed use pin 9 of the ECU on the first connector.

i did that and no luck at all with the speed, i tried to calibrate it manually, along with all the different pulse settings..

anyhow, i came across some readings, and saw that i should possibly use the vehicle speed sensor wire at the convertible top module (white/black wire).

i will tap this wire right when i get off work, hopefully with some good results. i had read the speed impluses are different frequencies from the convertible top module, and the ECU.

any confirmation on that would be great.

but my last and probably most important question, after i correctly tap the speed signal wire, in the calibration settings it tells me to select from four pulses?

is the s2000
2-pulse
4-pulse
8-pulse
16-pulse

or should i just do the "hold 25MPH and click" calibration.

sorry for the long post, thanks!
