Vavle Adjustment
I know a lot of people are going to say check the manual but I no longer have that anymore after getting pulled over and my car being searched...I also do not keep in contact with my local dealer because I was sold a Lemon when I bought my Integra from him....Also if I need an Adjustment and they find that some are bent (Because when I first got the car I was giulty of over reving from time to time) should I get aftermarket or go OEM?
If I go aftermarket what kind should I go with?
My car has 36K on it
Thanks

don't wait 'til 100,000 miles. although they recommends such milege, when NY metro people did theirs, it varied from + or - 2 to 4 hundredth. our cars were between 8,000 miles to over 40,000 miles. also we found few broken retainers. if you have never done it, just to make sure, get it done asap.

Is my understanding correct or is it that the F20c retainers are some what weak? It seems that on any type of over-rev that they will fail and break! Also will a valve adjustment reveal such damage and if so will the retainer give any symptom ie. poor running engine, CEL etc.?

I adjust my valves about every 10K miles. I don't understand what you mean by OEM or Aftermarket. Are you asking what shop to have the valves adjusted? I suggest doing it yourself! Valve adjustments are one of those TLC maintenance items (or "labor of love"). A mechanic will just adjust them "to spec", which is too wide of a margin for me.
