this is probably a stupid question. but do you think the injectors had anything with the bent exhaust valve?

were you running rich? did you ever get a p172 CEL?
when you say your idle was lumpy...how bad was it? did your car ever stalled out when coming to a stoplight?
did they replace all 4 injector?
glad you fixed your issue

The dealer kept the car for a few days after replacing them to be sure the codes wouldn't come back, so I don't think they were ever properly checked. It solved the problem, so I never thought to ask at the time.

Nothing crazy, you could hear the misfire at idle, intermittent burps is best I can describe. Car never stalled at any point.
Yes, all injectors were replaced.
Me too, when the CEL came back on (500 miles from home) I was highly annoyed, luckily the dealer stepped up and made it right.
