Hi Guys,
need little bit consulting...
due to overrev I had to change some valves on my 01' AP1 S2K.
I have ordered complete head kit # 06110-PCX-010, but since it was replaced by 06110-PCX-020, Honda send me *020.

Everything there looks identical to parts which I took from my head, except Valve Stems
My original ones were identical for IN and EX sides (but from head it looks like it allready had some works done by previous owner), but in a new kit there are 8x springs which are on rubber marked in black and 8x marked in silver also material is different in half of them rubber feels more softer that others.


Tried calling local Honda, but no luck there also
Looking at online catalogue if you buy separately both sides are sold like A and B, but since there is no code in Kit, I find hard to identify which is them are A and which are B



Anyone can help me in indentifying whish of them are for IN and which are for EX?

At some point, Honda changed one set to AP2 spec, which is why you have different sets now. Search for intake and exhaust valves and see if you can ID the difference, or someone who knows more may post.

Also, your links don't work.

White spring = intake
Black spring = exhaust

White = clean = intake
Black = dirty = exhaust

I've ordered them seperately not that long ago and the seal itself was brownisch, not black as your pictures.
Are the pics genereic?

anyway I have checked OEM part number and it seems that these Stems are used almost on All Hondas...


I will use black on EX, and white aka Silver on IN
