Check the map sensor readings first and see if it is a tight valve, unplug each coil first to see which one is not contributing then swap coils to see which coil is bad, if that is not the problem swap the plugs and check for the same results. Do all this first before doing injectors. This is how we do it at the dealership. How this helps. Also if you don't use the correct plugs it can cause the same problem. Honda cars doesn't like domestic or German plugs. Best one to get are factory NGK.

Make sure you do a compression check too. i had the same codes 3 weeks ago, and it turned out my tct let go and timing skipped and I bent all 16 valves.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

I am going to a highly-regarded local shop first, due to the fact I don't live close to a stealership. All the thoughts on the matter have been noted, and I will bring a list of things I want the mechanic to look at. I will post up things as they happen, I am taking the car in first thing Monday...

UPDATE.

Found all four spark plugs to be shot. Which is good news. I am especially happy to see all four go at the same time because that means my engine is running properly.

When I went to pick it up, it still had a CEL - cylinders 1, 2, 3, showed a misfire again. The mechanic played with it, and I have not seen a code in the last two weeks.

Hopefully the problem is solved, but first thing in 2011 she will be getting a valve adjustment.

After about 50 miles, the flashing CEL has returned.

I would rather not take it to my local shop and get it to a dealer that knows the engine better.

Problem is, the closest dealer is 18 miles away.

I am torn between driving it and towing it. Thoughts?

Yea, You could've driven it. I drove mine for 1000 miles while I sorted the issue.

As we have talked, Ive got money on clogged injectors.

How many miles are on the car?
