Default Valve cover leaking.

This is the first I noticed it, the car only has 30,000 miles on it. It is leaking on the passenger side of the engine and around the rear of the cover as well. The strange thing is the oil seems to moistening upward on the cover itself, the red cover has a wet look almost up to the top. Is this is a common problem or should I be looking for something else? I guess I need to put a new one on and retighten it down, anything else?
Thanks!!

Mine's doing it too. It's pretty easy to fix, just make sure to replace the spark plug tower seals too (this may be the source of the leak). -int212.

if your spark plugs have oil on it than yea the tube seals are leaking.. but if you buy the honda valve cover gasket kit.. it comes with it so might as replace all the seals

There is really no good reason that leaks would consistently form in that place. Are we sure this is not the result of spills when oil is added to the engine? It would result in a wet spot back there.

Definatley leaking, the oil fill is on the side. I haven't added any in a while, I was checking the oil level, that is when I noticed it. Thanks for all the replies
