Valve cover grommet washer?
I dropped one of the large steel washers that goes over the rubber grommet on the valve cover and it must have fallen somewhere and got stuck where i cant find it. Anyone know if these are available at the dealerships? Majestics parts diagram only seems to show the rubber grommet and the bolt but not the steel washer.

you can use a regular washer of similar size to hold you over temporarily, but you should be able to get one at the dealer. I've got about a dozen extras sitting around doing nothing from gasket kits I bought in the past. I'd mail one to you if you get in a bind and can't find one.

The diagram shows the valve cover gasket paired in a gasket kit with what looks like the rubber gasket for the 5 valve cover bolts. So the steel washer is included with the rubber gaskets and the valve cover gasket in a kit? If so I'll just get the kit and replace all of it with new gaskets and washers. I think majestic has the gasket set for like $25. If you get all that included for $25 thats a pretty good deal.

yup if you get the gasket kit you get the valvecover gasket , plus 5 rubber gaskets and 5 metal washers. I cant comment on the price as we pay a lot more for it up here, but as long as you order the kit you will get everything you need.
