Default Valve adjustment issues...Please help!

I got a CEL, misfire codes p0300 p0301 p0303 p0304 p1399. after swapping coils to make sure that was not the problem (i assumed it was not but swapped cylinder 1&2 just to check) CEL came back on after about 90 miles. The car has been running OK but I could tell it was not at its best. So after further research i decided to attempt a valve adjustment. Followed these instructions https://robrobinette.com/S2000ValveAdjust.htm

After i finished, started the car, idled ok, let it warm up, went to back out of the driveway and whenever i press the gas pedal then release it, the engine almost stalls out (this does not happen til the car warms up, about 4min) I believe i hear some valve chatter(I'm guessing loose valves). This was my first valve job so I'm thinking I may have gotten them a little loose. All valves were to tight when i started the adjustments. I have an 02 with 65k, bought it with 55k and no idea what was done mant wise before but the car has always ran fine, then i got the CEL, but the car was still running ok. I don't understand how the valve job could make the car do this but it is the only thing i did besides change valve cover ans spark plug tube gaskets. I've check all vacuum lines and electrical connections that i disconnected during the mant.

So my question is if i did in fact adjust the valves too loose would it cause this stalling problem. I triple checked my work and was sure i did everything properly. But I've messed something up. Thank u for any advise.

Did you adjust your valves when the engine was cold. Like letting the car sit over night and wait till morning cold .

I did blow out the valve cover with the compressor to clean out some pieces of spark plug gasket that came off while changing them. could i have damaged the TDC sensors?

Did you check the gap between the valve stem and rocker or between the cam lobe and roller? Youre supposed to gap the valvestem and rocker. If you gap at the cam lobe, then the gap at the other end will be huge!

You did check that all wiring looms and connections are ok, after the service? Try cleaning and re-fitting connectors under the hood. Smog and vacuum lines all ok?

Good luck!

thank u for the replies. I did set the gap at the valve stem and rocker, used the special tool from Amazon. I also checked all connections. Yesterday i removed the TDC sensors and inspected them but to my knowledge there is no way to tell if they r damaged. Visually they look fine. I guess i can go over the wiring again. i just don't see anything wrong.
