Valve Adjustment: How does TDC look like??
I'm thinking about doing my own valve adjustment this weekend, but the only thing I'm not sure about is how to identify TDC. How exactly should the cam gears look like at this position. My old B -series engine had arrows on the gears which helped. What position (like on a clock) should be "up" arrow be pointed at TDC on the F20?
Also how should the gears look like after rotating the engine 1/4 turn, for adjusting # 2 and #4?

First, I suggest you have a helms manual handy for this task. Second TDC, is represented when the 2 marks on the cam chain sprocket line up with the cylinder head. If you have the helms manual its on page 6-12. If I had a scanner I would scan the page in for ya, but I don't have one. I'm sure someone else could help ya.

It doesn't really matter whether you know how to set TDC with cam sprocket. Look at the cam lobes themselves and if both intake and exhaust lobed at pointing up and forming ~90' angle on #1 cylinder thats TDC for #1 cylinder. I have adjusted my valves numerous times using this methodology.

you want your cam lobes to be at the 3 11 oclock position.
I set up TDC with the crank markings and cam gears for cylinder 1, do my adjusting, then rotate them to get to number 3 cylinder, then 4th, then 2nd...
What i have done recently, is i can do some exhaust and some intake on different cylinder when at TDC for number 1 cyclinder etc... It cuts down on the time it takes... for me at least!

The motor can be cranked by hand using a 19mm socket and ratchet.
Be sure to rotate in the correct direction (clockwise on the S2K I believe); rotating the engine in reverse can cause the timing belt/chain to skip teeth (heard this on NPR's Car Talk)
Remove the stock air box to gain access to the 19 mm crank bolt
Remove the spark plugs to make it easier to turn
And get the Honda S2000 factory shop manual
Good Luck !!!!1
