Default Valva clearance between valve and head

I am building an F20C engine and yesterday we did a plastic gauge on the piston top to check for clearance. These pistons are CP 12.5 compression. and the clearance was about .002 on the intake side. I might be able to get by on the exhaust and dome but how much to relieve in the piston on the intake. 2 to 3 month wait on 11.5 pistons. I wasted 1400 on stock pistons that were coated for stock Aluminum cylinders. This has been sleeved with LA sleeve to stock 87mm HP sleeves.

I found the answer. I was doing a clay check with the piston at TDC and the valve is not open at TDC. I should have put the timing chain on and done the check. I'm looking for an excuse. I must have been tired.
