so when i bought my S it came only with one key, i was never able to lock the glove box or open the trunk with my key, never really an issue bieng that i could use the fob and i never kept anything importamt in the glove box, but i do hate the way it looks, i was wondering if the dealer can cut a copy that would open the trunk and work with the glove box, and second i've seen on ebay some "type r civic rsx" keys that they say will work with s2000 i guess they have the same transponder, i was wondering if anyone has used this one, being that they are like $20 Vs. $80+ for a sinple black key from the dealer

Just buy the key off ebay for like under $5 or so and just bring it to the home depot to have it cut if your not using the key to drive. But if you want the key with the trsnsponder with the logo on it home depot will not program it for you they only program they own key. Its still better then paying dealer price for like $100+

lol if you bring the valet key to home depot to cut a copy, you'll just end up with a second valet key. useless.

But you should be able to buy a blank on Ebay, then take it to the Honda dealer to get a key cut that will open everything.
