I had a Vortech with VAFCII. When i lowered the Vtech point from stock to 5500rpm. I smooth the power curve which is good for your traction and tranny. It also gain more power at vtech. I am thinking to lower the vtech point further in the future, just need more dyno time.
Is your Vortech lean? My Vortech was very lean before i add the VAFCII. It could damage your engine if you just install your Vortech without checking your a/f. in my opinion, the Vortech is not just plug and play.
Anyway, i do want to monitor the knock sensor from the SAFC. Other than this, i will get the VAFC.

the number of adjustment points should be the same.. the SAFC has an aux. input that the VAFC does not. many use this to monitor voltage of a sensor (o2, etc..) which can be useful.
