VAFC Setting Library
#45
Could someone tell me why the L/H Throttle settings that everyone is using are so low? Since OBD-II does the learning and compensating that it does, it seems that you would only want the V-AFC to do anything when you are at WOT. Otherwise, the ECU can learn to undue the corrections. If I'm at partial throttle, I want the fuel corrections to be zero. I have my L/H Throttle settings at 80% and 85%.
Am I missing something?

That sounds right to me. That's what my "Engine Guy" told me. I heard the same exact thing, that if you play around in the low throttle setting, then the computer compensates and richens everything back up. Any more than that, I have no clue what I'm talking about.

I just got a V-AFC and wanted to know what are the initial settings in which I could safely drive my car around without tuning it. For example zero fuel/air corrections and etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
