I'll make a phone call tomorrow and see about getting it tuned somewhere else. I won't mention the problem to them and just see if it works after they are done with it. Hopefully I can get that done this week. I'll make sure that they write down the settings for me if I can't be there when they tune it.

The settings you put in a vafc are always supposed to stay there, unless you change them yourself. It is this way whether they lose power or not. I have had both of mine off my car for a month or so after being tuned, it never lost the tune. The only thing that could be wrong is something with your vafc... Good luck with it.

I'm taking it some where else today to get it tuned. I'm starting to think the guys that did it didn't want to work on mine so they just dynoed it and left it alone.

I just got it tuned tonight. 217.76 HP 150.63 TQ. The problem was that the original guys I went to never even touched the car, but instead printed out a dyno sheet from anothe s2k and put my name on it. Thank god I didn't give them any money. But with the new guys I went to I was able to gain 9 hp and 5.5 tq over my base. I'm very happy now. I do have my settings if anyone is interested. I didn't get a narrow throttle tune set up though, not that I really need it.

YIKES!!!! You need to turn him in to the BBB or something. We need to warn other car owners to stay away from people like this!!!

nice numbers man thats a nice jump...hows ur midrange with the tune? i baselined 217.1 whp and 149.1 wtq with my mods but i have some crappy a/f ratios at a couple points and i kno i could really benefit from the vafc. Did they tune for only full throttle? I hear if u dont tune for only full throttle the ecu will eventually override the settings?
