VAFC harness too bulky, can't snap the plastic
After putting on the vafc harness, it seems to be too bulky. I can't snap the plastic piece that covers the ecu and hood latch. How did you guys close it with all that wiring all over the place after the harness?

I just didn't put in the rear snap plug. I haven't driven much since the install so I don't know if this will cause any problems or not. Waiting to hear what everyone else did.

Most people don't run the back plug.
Some people have actually duct taped the harness wire down before reinstalling the cover. I have no idea how anybody got that to work. It didn't work for me... there is not enough surface for the duct tape to stay put.
I ended up putting duct tape around the scales of the plug and that gives enough friction for the plug to stay put, but also be removeable when necessary.

I fished a zip tie through the hole and got the panel pretty close to stock form. 95% of the dead pedal was usable...

I spliced mine in so I wouldn't have that problem. It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, it's relatively easy and I trust my soldering more than a harness.

If you unbolt the dead pedal a bit and wedge a small "L" bracket underneath and between the left side of the dead pedal and the ECU plastic cover it will keep things tight and still enable you to use the dead pedal. Does that make sense? It's easier to just do it in person than to try and explain it.
