vafc annoyances/problems
Took my VAFC out for the winter. I took it out because it seemed to cause the car to behave strangely once in awhile, and I figured I didn't need any extra performance during the winter. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, the throttle would get very very strange...like dropping and nearly stalling (this is while driving btw), and then jumping back up while triggering the CEL. This would happen until I unplugged the thing, and replugged it in (resetting the ecu via the 'pull the fuse' method didnt work).
A few weeks ago, I decided to put it back in. Worked great for a little while, then outside the post office this morning it starts playing it's old games.
Anyone else experiencing this?
I have a harness, and the fitment near the ecu sucks (there's no extra room at all in there). So, the panel that covers that stuff is covering my dead petal, and gets tapped often by my feet (which is probably moving the harness around).
Is there some sort of trick to fitting that in there right? Perhaps one of my wire connections isn't holding up (though they all seem fine)? Any other recommendations?

I would also like some information on how to stop this. I get the same thing, I will just be "rolling" in 1st gear and it will start jumping and almost stall unless I hit the clutch and give her some throttle.
Oh, and ditto on the Harness fitment

This happened to me for a while, primarily when I was driving REALLY slow (near idle) in 1st or 2nd gear. I decided to set all partial throttle fuel corrections to 0, and raise my throttle settings to 80% / 81% (Lo / Hi). This completely fixed it. Basically, the V-AFC doesn't do anything at all until I go over 80% throttle, which seems desirable to me anyway.
