Vacuum (?) tubes undoing themselfs?
The other day I noticed 2 vacuum tubes (I'm not completely sure they are vacuum tubes) being loose.
No idea what caused it
The only thing I can think of is that they weren't on the pipes equally, IOW more on the right side then on the left side, because they were disconnected on the left.
Fixed that by moving them around a bit and added ty-raps to secure them better.
With the tubes loose I noticed a slight more irregular idle.
Well.. I noticed the idle become more smooth when I put them back on.
Anyone ever seen this before?

Well.. I noticed it when I was looking how to install my Krank vents.
Just by looking, not touched anything
No work was done prior to that.
I did remove the metal piping to install the Krank vents.
Now with the ty-raps they stay where they are, maybe a little over-the-top, but better safe then sorry I guess.
Is it correct that it causes an irregular idle with the tubes loose?
And.. are they vacumm tubes?
