Default vacum line question?

when the car is running the line circled collapses. is this normal? when you hold the tube from collapsing the throttle is more responsive than when the tube is collapsed.

thanks

You only require one post to show that you can't spell vacuum.

It's not supposed to collapse. Either it's not the original pipe or it has perished.

Or worse, your PCV valve is blocked.

Remove the valve and blow into each end. Should flow from the valve cover to the manifold but not the other way. My guess is it will not flow either way.

Clean or replace.

i've seen these lines go bad several times. i would just pick-up a pcv/vacUUm line from the dealer, or u can just get the line from discount, but not the pcv (they suck)
