V-AFC Tune and Results!
Got my car dyno tuned with a VAFC2 today!
FYI: Kw or Kilowatts is another method of showing Horsepower. To convert Kw figures to Horsepower just multiply the Kw by 1.34.
Initially I was very disappointed with the baseline pull.
The car only pulled 137.3kw or 184 Hp (thats with a custom test pipe and K&N RE-0810 filter)
What I was told is actually you should add around 7 or 8 more Kw (Roughly 9 to 10 hp) to it cos the dyno they are using has a high correction figure of 1.1.
So off we install the VAFC2...
and Brilliant 144.3kw or 193 Hp ! the car gained 7kw or 9.4 Hp just through the tune it self.
The tune has straightened out the air/fuel settings quite nicely, and there seems to be quite high gains in the low and mid point torque.
Car drives perfectly, more smoother and the Vtec engagement is much much smoother.
Overall? Im bloody happy with it.
In a nutshell: I gained I gained 9.4 whp and 8.7 lbs tq just from a near stock car with VAFC2.

KW stands for kilowatts. It's a unit measurement of power.

After I installed the flux capacitor on mine, I had to convert to Gigawatts on the dyno, but I can transcend space and time when I hit 88mph!

I only have a custom test pipe and a K&N RE0810 filter.
You would have gained around 10 to 15 horses just from the exhaust and headers.
Then add around 8 to 9 horses on top of that from the VAFC tune.
