Every two years when I also have to pass CA smog. I find as the moisture is absorbed in the fluid its color changes from honey to black if I wait longer. When the rust inhibitors in the brake fluid are exhausted it starts corroding the system from the inside. I have has good luck with Castrol GT_LMA synthetic BF, Dot 4.

That should not be happening. I have flushed brake systems with 200,000 miles (stock fluid) and it was off color, but still mostly clear and free of crud.99.9% of car owners never flush the brake fluid and keep running the same stuff for years. I flushed out and replaced fluid last year that had not been changed out in about 10 years and even that fluid was darker, but not that off in color than the new fluid going in.

Some manufacturers state 40,000 - 50,000 miles and you will still not see black fluid or crud it in at that time (or they would specify more often).

What size tubing are you guys using? The smallest I could find is 7/64" (2.8mm) inside dia. Outside dia is 5mm and I'm still having trouble getting it into the front chamber. I tried using a razor blade to shave off some of the outside dia. but it's still too thick to get past that divider and that round cylindrical floaty thing in the middle of the master cylinder (AP1). .

I use a medium sized syringe (about 15 ml size) and fit a small clear hose on the end- I then snake it into the front MC fluid chamber.

Turkey basters are best left in the kitchen.

What size hose do you use and where do you find it? See my post above yours for what I tried but wouldn't work.

Yep, for normal driving this is good enough to never have an issue with your brake hydraulics.

Finally found a hose that will fit into the front chamber. It's a 1/8" (3.18mm) OD, made by Dorman (part # 47417). Got it at Advance Auto. Also going to try to attach it to a syringe, originally a flavor injector and hopefully it'll get ll the fluid from the front chamber.

The tubing is clear, thin walled, and was included in my brake bleeding kit. It just fits in the forward area of the MC. I'll try and snap a photo.
