Used exedy clutch

Default Used exedy clutch

Should i install this used clutch with this much life left??



for comparison purposes, the thickness is the same as a dime's outter rim.

I personally wouldn't because of the cost of labor. The exedy's have a fast wear rate and that one looks about 1/2 way done.

Yeah not worth it, the clutch looks pretty worn. Cost of labor to install clutch and then you have to replace this clutch alot sooner then a new one and then you have to install another clutch and pay more labor. Its not cost effective, and he car will have to in the shop twice so now car.

that doesn't look worn much at all. I have the same clutch in my car, the exedy hyper single, and i bought a brnad new disc thinking that the 2nd hand one was worn..
the orig one was almost the same thickness as the new one!.. and pretty much the same as the one in the pic

Find out what the minimum thickness spec is for a stock disc, then compare it to that one. You might have engagement/slip issues if it's already too thin.
