Urgent - need advice

Ive had several F22 with fried rings during my "career", and never did they eject oil from the seals, but always out from the breather.

This is now an "old" thread but I'd not even look at a used car of the caliber of the S2000 if it had a bad roof or bald tires both of which are indications of indifferent maintenance by the owner and which makes everything else suspect. But... but.. Chuck. it's a One Owner Car! (so it must be special).
In this specific case the first photo should have showed the roof and tires. Click the mouse on the next car.

I looked at the whole care on and off the lift with a Honda mechanic who was working at the dealership with the S2000s came out. There was no other oil leakage.
@chuck S I have different thoughts about this. I would rather choose tires and brakes myself, rather than the owner put on junk tires like a lot of dealerships do prior to selling these cars, or a cheap top without a working defroster, as long as it's factored into the purchase price. These are just wear items. In this case you hit this one on the head though, the owner clearly didn't maintain this car properly and was getting rid of his problems. Lesson learned.

Junk tires is another car I'd not look at.

Everyone has there own way of evaluating cars. I'll just say that one of the best used cars I have ever purchased had junk tires. I traveled 3 hours to see the car, and to pick it up a few weeks later. The owner was 80 years old. The car was otherwise gorgeous. It had 8.5k miles. Original tires. The rears were shot. Fronts still had tread. But, of course, they were 15 years old and had to go. The car fax showed an annual oil and filter change and inspection at the dealer ever year. No other service. It was a 2002 Honda S2000 that her husband bought her for her 65th birthday. She made me promise always to take good care of it. That is really all she cared for. The car runs like a top and it is pure joy. I have never regretted that purchase for one second. I think you always have to look at the whole picture.
