Is upgrading the stock clutch setup necessary when upgrading the final drive gear? I searched the forums and in cases where others have upgraded their final drive gear, they also have an aftermarket clutch setup. I have an AP2 and just purchased 4.56 gears. I am hoping to hold off on the clutch upgrade till when I go FI. Thanks.

No. It is not required, recomended or even suggested.

I'd think it would be easier for the clutch to work with a higher ratio...less stress...BTW where did you pick up the set? If you dont mind and how much???
