It looks like you chopped off the end of the stock driveshaft and axles and welded them on to the Nissan parts?? How did they make sure that it was straight/balanced?

Could you take a couple of pictures from a few feet back so we can see the complete setup + axles and driveshaft + mounts. Back up about 4 or 5 feet. Thanks. I'm curious about the mounting method.

You can see the mounts in this pics, they are thick plates of aluminium. They appear to be about 1" thick.

Wow, looks like it's just cut and weld like CJB said.

The mounts are no problem to me it's just always been making sure I've got something that fit. BTW, the 300zx is about the same rear as that I believe. Anyways, Cody at www.lovefab.com is going to try a bunch of rear end arrangements in the up coming winter since he's picking up his own S2000 soon. I guess taking the original driveshafts and axles from those cars and just sending it to a driveshaft balancing shop to cut and weld is no biggie.

Dont you all think those OEM driveshafts are prone to warping under the stress? My driveshaft is already experienceing some problems...

I think that's probably cause no one drives like you do

I'm gonna need a new shaft too in that case.
