i have a koyo rad mugen thermo and mugen fan switch blitz cap and have zero problems. Mishi is ok but you cant beat koyo, i got mine from horsepowerfreaks for 220 i think

Reading is different from experience, they all fit perfect on the s2000 they are almost identical to a koyo just cheaper. Its a piece of aluminum u really cant mess it up building it. I never heard of anyone having issues with it on an s2k.

Some people think just because its expensive that its good. Theres alot of a crappy expensive parts made for this car.

my mashi has been perfect for 2 years. kyoyo is nice with that spray paint in the front, and a better polish.

I have a mishimoto and i love it, it will take a little bit more than two jugs of coolant, mega cooling!! I did have to leave the passenger side radiator stay off due to my k&n fipk and aut cooling plate. It is snug against the intake so it does not move around or vibrate . Some ppl have had problems with mishimotos actually causing overheating but it seems it was due to the switch and thermostat which are cheap to replace with nice (spoon, mugen, j's, etc) aftermarket ones...also do not get the fan shroud if you have an aftermarket intake!

i have owned two different mishi's so i speak from experience when i say they are crap. first one didn't line up with the radiator stays nor did the fan shroud (mishimoto's fan shroud) bolt holes line up with those on the radiator. within three months the radiator sprung three leaks from various welds. they sent me another one and instead of the coolant shooting to the overflow tank when too hot it sprays out the top of the radiator.

i highly recommend buying a reputable radiator cap (spoon, mugen, j's, buddy club, skunk 2 or arc) mishimoto is known for selling defective radiator caps that do not hold pressure. save yourself the hassle and get one now.

^^I agree, i have read alot of bad stuff about the radiator caps, but i have yet to have any problems and will be getting one soon just in case...

If you had read my several other posts (and even this one) you would see its a crap shoot. Maybe works great, maybe not. The caps are junk, but there are many alternatives. I'm not a JDM snob or fanboy. Tons of JDM garbage with bad welds and grossly inflated prices.

For most people, they want a bolt-on that they don't have to customize. Is she going to be able to make it work? Probably. Is she going to have problems bleeding it? Maybe, dozens of people have. Which coolant is she going to use, is she flushing it first? It is easy enough to get it wrong, why not give her the best start possible. Mish is not that.

that sucks. My first mishi worked great. Checked the welds, not the prettiest and had one small leak but it sealed itself (aluminum oxide will grow/seal it) the only thing I dont like about the mishi is the way the thing is put together..if you peek inside, you can see sharp edges in it, because of the way it was welded together. not sure if the "JDM" brands have those
