So what kind of oil did you use at the end there?

Don't put motor oil in your brake system next , or windshield washer fluid in your engine coolant , lol

I filled it with some cheap pennzoil and ran it till warm, then drained and filled back up with Mobil 1 plus a fresh filter.

On a road trip now and she is running great!

Edit: to answer your question more accurately, Mobil 1 *engine oil*.

Indeed. Glad you did not hear a dealer tell you after servicing that they topped off the power steering reservoir either!
