[QUOTE=bbs2k_21,May 4 2010, 07:45 PM] UPDATE: This is mainly for future readers at this point but disconnecting the evap lines from the intake mani worked...!!!!! Im real excited, i wasted about $700 at stupid honda dealership with no luck so im happy its finally fixed even though its a work-around fix...
What i did (in my above posted picture showing the evap lines on the intake mani) is disconnect the vacuum line from the purge solenoid (just like its shown disconnected in the picture) and capped it off and put a screw in the hose and zip tied it.

Is your car throwing a CEL...? I've also heard of similar symptoms being cause by a weak battery and/or alternator, head your local auto store so they all the above can be tested.
And yes, if your vehicle is under warranty they should be able to help you out...

Hey mchi5
Hey guys
I have a MY2000, with about 74,000 miles on it. Just bought it a month ago. It runs fine, and got a overall good inspection at a honda dealer before I bought it.
One weird thing is whenever I fill up the S, it will not start up afterwards. I always have to pump the gas pedal a few times, keep pushing on the starter button, and basically floor the gas pedal when trying to start it until it starts.
It usually takes several tries until it starts up, but afterwards, it will start up everytime the first time until I get gas again.
I spoke to a honda service guy, and he says sometimes the motor gets flooded with gas?? WTF??
anyone has any ideas of whats going on? is it dangerous to the motor, etc, or just an annoyance?
thanks
