The best I have found so far was Pennzoil Platinum 10W-30 (EOP). They only did a 1 year run of this stuff and then came out with their new formula (groupIII). The PP clearly did better than the Maxlife Synthetic 10W-30 on UOA's that I did, but it's not available anymore. I'm using Castrol Syntec 0W-30 now and will do a UOA soon. We'll see what that looks like.

im pretty sure in the oil journals it says the amsoil was rated the best based on oil analysis on many other top ranked oils.

I've heard of issues with Mobil 1 burning in AP1s, I decided on redline after reading the oil journals.

I ran RL, loved it, but the price turned me off. I dont like running oil for long intervals, just cuz I like the feeling of having "clean oil" so I just run M1EP just because its a bit cheaper and readily available.

Does it make a differance if the car is Turboed??
the thing is in my country we have Castrol Edge & Magnatic, and Mobil 1 Synthetic we dont have Amsoil or Brad penn
currently im using Mobil 1
