[B]All the items that the reviewer and you mention are either bolt-on (bar, shock, spring) or tuning(alignment).

I was not aware of that. I also don't remember the reviewers being aware of that either. Though my memory often isn't, well, good.

Are the 2002 UK cars different from the 2000-2002 U.S. Cars? (beside right hand drive for the smart asses out there )

Hi all

"I totally agree with you on this... after reading several English mags, I find a serious English slant on things... like they love to spotlight English cars, even though they are all owned my us Americans. Event though this particular story is quite fair, most others are really pompous psychobabble with often a mocking tone... I would very much rather read American mags... much more objective, even if some are watered down and too nice...

ANyways, I'm really wondering why they got the freakin changes, and what exactly theyare..."

I think your missing the point about here..

Of course English mags want to spotlight English cars, what's the point of reading about something thats not available in UK and is not really built for the UK market.
I don't know if you've been to the UK, but the roads are very different(small, twisty and bumpy) and US cars don't do well at all on our roads at all.

It's not Pompous to say that (most) US market cars are crap on UK road because they are. There simply to big and are to soft for the UK.

The Magazine in question(EVO) is Objective and recently reviewed a Corvette Z06 and said" I don't think I've Experienced a car with so much any gear- any revs response" and said " the improvement in the Z06's chassis over the standard corvettre is as impressive as it's ballstic speed. Predictably it has masses of road holding, but it also has feel, composure and a modicum of mind corner adjustability, something lesser vettes lack"

It's goes on to say what a good car it is.

I think you comments have to much of a US slant, don't judge so harshly

Regards
