As above.
I have a 99 Jap s2k and are about to do my first oil change.
I ordered 2 HAMP oil filters from the UK but they are smaller circumference than the current oil filter that is on the car.
Might the filter on the car be an oversized filter or are jap and uk cars using different filters?

Assuming they gave you the correct Hamp filter for the S, they do tend to be smaller than the OEM filter from Honda. They are a very good quality filter and have never given me a problem.

If it wasn't for the Nips being so good at building ships, the yards would still be open on the Clyde.
And it can't be much fun for them beneath the rising sun, with all their kids committing suicide.

Sheez (which is an abbreviation/distortion of 'jesus' and offensive to Christians) lighten up guys. We all have lives and many of them revolve around high performance Japanese sports cars and that's what brings us together.
It's pretty complex structuring your communication so as to avoid offending anyone, particularly when some of us are a tad sensitive and even get offended on behalf of others.
Believe it or not, the solution is education without derogation. Insult back (deliberately) and you just broaden the divide. And for a bit of perspective the term 'jap' is not considered any more derogatory than 'aus' or 'yank' in Australia.
